The S3B Sound Barrier uses a novel approach to stop thieves and prevent loss. Attached to a conventional intruder alarm system, the S3B produces a unique combination of sounds designed to stop thieves and force them to leave
empty-handed. The original concept of using 'sound' as a 'non-lethal' defence
against intruders was developed by the British authorities in the early 1970's.
The S3B has refined the original concept and now offers a harmless but
extremely effective acoustic defence system.
The system works by creating two sets of sound at different frequencies. The
sounds are cycled, creating nausea and disorientation in humans.
The effects of the S3B are unpleasant but completely harmless, with no
permanent hearing damage or other side effects.
S3B Sound Barrier - effective on its own and awesome when used in
conjunction with Smoke Security smoke systems.
