All models share the same compact yet robust external casing. This cube-like
exterior provides easy installation with either wall or ceiling mounting. The comparatively small size of the unit makes concealment – usually above a
suspended ceiling – an easy option.
The unique aerosol fluid delivery system ensures Smoke Screen is extremely
reliable, even after long periods in service. In the whole system there is only
one moving part: the solenoid valve.
Smoke Screen generators are supplied with a 100% 'No Residue' and 'No Contamination' guarantee. The key to 'dry' smoke produced by Smoke Screen generators is due to the unique design of the heat exchanger. Here a precision-machined, steel heater block with a removable spiralled core is used. Heat is supplied by two ‘Fire rod’ cartridge heaters originally designed as part of the NASA ‘Star Wars’ project.
The result is a smoke consisting of billions of microscopic liquid particles. The
average diameter is a mere 0.2 microns, significantly smaller than its nearest competitor.
Smoke Screen has been rigorously tested being fully compliant with the British Standard BS7939, as well as the French CNPP and other European standards.
Smoke Screen is in daily operation with a wide range of users. Many high street names such as Boots, Tesco and Vodafone have made Smoke Screen their security system of choice.
